xplore the world of Burlesque performance! In this five-class workshop series, Lillian will give students an intro to this performance art in a low-key, stress-free environment. You'll learn the basics of Burlesque history, stage presence and theatricality, different styles of burlesque, how to make your costumes sparkle, how to harness your body language, and more!

Participants will have the opportunity to attend shows together as a group with Lillian (optional, extra cover charges may apply) and perform in a class show at the end of the workshop! Performance in the class presentation is optional, but encouraged.

Lillian has six years of Burlesque performance experience, 20 years of theater and improv experience, and has spoken and taught workshops across the country. She's excited to bring this class to Jersey City!
